There are some benefits to being a football club in Cornwall, and one of those is getting to play football on the beach. So this is what EWR did in style, with representatives from all 4 age groups. In addition to matches on the sand, we ran competitions to build sand sculptures of famous stadiums (and Luton’s home ground), as well as rounders and various other games. I think it is fair to say fun was had by players and coaches alike.
As always this could not have happened without the coach and parent volunteers, but in particular, we’d like to thank Sloth Productions for coming along and taking some amazing pictures on the day.
